    1. In my opinion Yes. If ROI is an important factor, you can think of SJSOM over Indore(high batch Srength), otherwise as per IIM brand goes, IIM k IIm Indore are anyday to be choosen over IIT B and IIT D.

  2. Hie Jagadish,

An IIM is an IIM anyday. I think IIM kozhikode and Indore can be choosen over IIT B. IIT Delhi is definetly after these three.A little contemplation led me to confusion between IIT B and Indore. However, Indore being an old IIM, the tag, legacy scores over IIT B.

    1. IIM is not an IIM anyday. IIMs are supposed to be only A, B and Cs don't think others cary the IIM legacy.. XLRI SP/FMS/MDI are preferred over IIMK/I and even L in some cases so don't give that false guidance to fellow students.

  4. If my percentile would be 50%ile and I belongs to DA category
    Any chances for iim calls?

  5. Hi Manjith,

I think it is really difficult to get an iim call at 50% , as most of the iims have a cutoff of 50+ with sectionals 35-35+. However, in the past there have been some of the iim's whose cutoffs are between 40-50 %ile. This is just the basic cat percentile cutoff, however to get a call , you will need to consider the admission criteria of each iim as they are different.

For cutoffs, i found this article to be useful

    Goodluck!

    1. Thankyou ma'am
But, year back can cause the damage if I will clear my GD and then they asked while interviewing me?

    2. If you can explain why you had a gap convincingly, it should not be an issue. But, do expect some grilling on that!
