The Bird Story!

So, recently I happened to be at a serene and picturesque location. As I was admiring the beauty of the hills and the surroundings, I saw a bird flying above the water and suddenly picked a fish .I am not sure if it’s a very simple question but I really couldn’t come up with an answer. As it was flying across the water surface, I prayed it would find its prey but the moment it caught the fish I was sad a fish died. I wasn’t really sure what would I do if I were given a chance to decide between the prey for a bird or the life of a fish. I know a simple answer everyone has in mind is “Dude, You know, that's  how the food chain works ".
It is an incident , which still left me pondering about our perception of what is right and wrong. We often jump into conclusions and make remarks without fully understanding the situation. It is very easy to say ,to think objectively without bringing in your subjectivity. But, many a times, we have some strong personal views which we know are wrong but still support. Why?
You might love movies of Salman Khan, he might be a great actor, but if he has made a mistake we should not support what is wrong because you think it is right due to your #loveforsalmanmyopia. If people love him and think that it isn’t his fault, shouldn’t they come up with valid arguments to show his innocence? Should you sound like a retard when you make an argument in favor of him? “Roads not for people to sleep on” “The govt should be responsible for housing ppl. If no1 was sleeping on d road in any other country Salman wuld not have driven over anybody”; and “It’s like penalising a train driver because someone decided to cross the tracks and got killed in the bargain.
Can you run over people if they sleep on road? You are not supposed to drink and drive and you can’t run over everyone who sleeps on pavement. They are human beings and their life is as precious as yours.
What surprised me is that educated people, who are one of the brightest minds in the country said “ Bhai has done nothing wrong, it’s people’s mistake to sleep on pavement”
I mean do you have to let go your conscience, your intellectual capability of deciding what is right or wrong just to support someone you love? Do you have to say wrong things to make a wrong right?
If you think there is no valid proof, arguments to support that Salman has made a mistake it is still fine. But, stooping down to the level of making illogical and insensible arguments is detestable. It just left me in a deafening silence.

It is like you are blind with your eyes wide open.
